Helen McBroom, age 94, of Jonesboro, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025.
Born on October 1, 1930, in Harrisburg, Arkansas, Helen was the daughter of the late Verna Lee and George Clark. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of over 40 years, Gerald Daniel McBroom. She was also preceded in death by her great-grandchild, River Holley, and her daughter-in-law, Mary Huggins McBroom.

Helen is survived by her sons: Mike (Sheila) McBroom of Jonesboro, David McBroom of Newnan, and Kevin McBroom of Newport, Oregon. She is also survived by her siblings: Riley L. (R.L.) Clark of Turrell, Arkansas, and Linda Clark Martin of Wynne, Arkansas. In addition, she leaves behind her grandchildren: Heather (Jason) Holley, Timothy McBroom, Russell McBroom, and Rachel McBroom; her great-grandchildren: Traeh Holley, Cace Holley, Annaleigh Holley, Willow Holley, and Brynlee McBroom; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

A funeral service to celebrate Helen's life will be held on Tuesday, January 28th, at 1:00 PM at Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. A visitation will take place one hour prior to the service starting at 12:00 PM. Following the service, Helen will be laid to rest at Sherwood Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to the food pantry at First Baptist Church of Jonesboro.
