Mr. Henry Thomas "Tom" Stroud, Jr.,  age 78 of Jonesboro passed away July 3, 2021. Mr. Stroud was a retired Senior Dispatcher from the Clayton County 911 Operations Center, a member of Calvary  Baptist Church, and was preceded in death by his parents: Henry Thomas, Sr. and Margie Opal Stroud and his wife: Carole Job Stroud. He is survived by his son: Robert "Lee" Stroud and wife Vicki of Jonesboro, daughter: Lisa Sanchez and husband Cris of Brunswick, grandchildren: Alonso, Tori and Isabella Sanchez  and Kinley Brewer and husband Joshua, great-grandchildren: Micah, Judah and Noah Brewer. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Shane Roye officiating.  Interment will follow at Camp Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. Tuesday July 6, 2021 at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to: Calvary Baptist Church 7130 Mt. Zion Circle, Morrow, GA 30260 in Memory of Mr. Tom Stroud, and they also would appreciate written Memories of Tom.
