Herbert M. Ross, age 81, of Jonesboro passed away September 28, 2014. He was retired from the U.S. Navy and was involved with the Boy Scouts of America for over 50 years. Mr Ross was preceded in death by his children, Jimmy Ross and Terry Ross. Surviving are his wife, Sonja Casey, children, Donna Lawson, Mike Ross, Pam Britton and husband Mike, Robert Casey,Kevin Casey and wife Shaunna, Jo Marie Lim and husband Kevin, Heather Felt and husband Dennis, Jeremy Casey and wife Tracey, Lydia Olds and husband Willie, Patrick Casey and wife Amy, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Jonesboro Ward. Interment will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Rockwood, TN. The family will receive friends today, Monday, September 29, 2014, 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
