Mr. Hillion B. "Monty" Montgomery, Jr.,  age 81 of Forest Park passed away January 29, 2022. Mr. Montgomery was a member and served as a Deacon at Fairview Baptist Church and served in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents: Hillion B. Montgomery, Sr. and Doris Sexton, his wife: Lenora Montgomery and his sister: Jackie Cronic. He is survived by his sons: Anthony Wayne Montgomery of Norcross and Marvin Reid (Wendy) Montgomery of Newnan, grandchildren: Jon- Erik (Michelle) Montgomery, Anna Li Montgomery and Emma Xinyun Montgomery, great-grandchildren: Aiden Montgomery and Alice Montgomery, nieces, nephews and extended family members. Funeral Services will be held at 12 p.m. Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Durham officiating. Interment will be at Central United Methodist Church Cemetery in Eatonton, GA. The family will receive friends 11 a.m. - 12 p.m. Tuesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
