Mr. Hoyt Carter, age 78, of Stockbridge passed away Thursday, March 8, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife Louise. He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Lisa Carter of Newnan and son Edward Carter and his fiancé Karen Blackburn of Stockbridge, brothers; Ronnie Carter, Pete Carter, Ralph Carter, Curly Carter and Calvin Carter all of Tennessee along with a sister Velda Collier of Jonesboro, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. A Funeral service will be held Sunday, March 11, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. in the Ford-Stewart Funeral Home Chapel with Preacher Roger Davis officiating.
