Rev. Hubert Dean Smith, age 85, of Stockbridge went to meet his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on June 22, 2026. He was born on September 28, 1940 in St. Clair County, Alabama to the late Joseph Ollie Smith and Effie Lorene Smith. Rev. Smith is survived by his wife; Navell, children; Deana (Brian) Moates of Hampton, Dawn (Joey) Shirley of Eufaula, Alabama, Denise (Michael) Joiner of Jonesboro, grandchildren; Hannah, Zechariah, Mackenzie, Anderson, Bennett, Mason, Micah, Joseph and Lucy, 11 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and extended family. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, June 24, 2026. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM on Wednesday at the church prior to the service. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
