Mr. Hugh G. Thomas, Sr., age 75, of Jonesboro, GA, passed away, January 17, 2013. He is survived by his wife; Emily, children; Hugh G. Thomas Jr., of Jonesboro, Donna Suzanne (Roger) Bentley of Jackson, Alan K. (Rhonda) Thomas of Locust Grove, brother; Otis "Larry" (Dianne) Thomas of Stockbridge, grandchildren; Christina Wheeler, Joshua Bentley, Christopher Thomas, great grandchildren; Derek Wheeler II. Funeral services will be held, Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Pastor Jesse Hobgood will officiate. Interment will be at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Friday, January 18, 2013 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
