Ms. Idaliene Green, age 82, of Jonesboro, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2024. Idaliene Green was a retired employee of GA Power in Atlanta, GA, where she was a payroll specialist for over 30 years. She was a long time member of Ash Street Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents; Raymond (Frances) Green, her siblings; Jack Green and Karon Cooper. She is survived by her sister-in-law; Diane Green of McDonough, nieces; Laura Mournighan of Greenville, SC, Michelle (Steve) Donaldson of Forsyth, and Dr. Jennifer (Dr. Josh) Simpson of Greenville, SC, great nieces and nephews; Tony (Katie) Donaldson, Matthew (Ariana) Donaldson, Dillon (Megan) Donaldson, Allison (Chase) Hobgood, Joshua Mournighan, Jack Simpson, and Charlotte Simpson, her life-long friends Idyll Parker, Danya Richards, and Pat Donovan; and several extended family members. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at Ford-Stewart Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Dr. J. Murray Edwards. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the Funeral Home. The interment will be held at Westview Cemetery, 1680 Westview Dr SW, Atlanta, Georgia 30310.
