Mrs. Jackie McElroy, age 89 of Union City passed away December 4, 2014. She was a member of First Baptist Church Jonesboro, and was preceded in death by her husband William McElroy, daughter, Trish Weaver and grandson David Rainwater. Surviving are her daughters; Brenda Rainwater and Ann McElroy both of Decatur, grandchildren; Matthew Rainwater, Julie Spearing and Jeff Peckham, and 9 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 8, 2014, 11 a.m. at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday, December 8, 2014, 9:30 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
