Mr. James "Shag" Burge, Sr., age 78 of Stockbridge passed away August 24, 2018. He is survived by his wife: Diane Burge, children: Stephen Michael Darby and wife Tammy of Carrollton, James S. Burge, Jr. of McDonough, Sharron Skiba of Alpharetta and Cindy Williams of AL., mother: Mildred Cash of McDonough, sister: Jane Ashley of TX., brother: Ted Burge and wife Elizabeth of McDonough, grandchildren: Joe (Melissa) Darby, Patrick (Laura) Darby, Alex Skiba, Olivia Skiba and Dustin Williams, great-grandchildren: Malachi Darby, Josiah Darby and Paisley Darby. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 29, 2018 in the Chapel of Frod-Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Darby officiating. Interment will follow at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
