Mr. James Earl Cannady age 78, of Jonesboro, passed away January 3, 2020. Mr. Cannady served in the US Air Force, was retired from Delta Airlines and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife: Elizabeth "Liz" Cannady and son: Christopher Cannady. He is survived by his daughter: Vivian Tolbert; son: Steven Cannady both of Jonesboro; brother: Larry Cannady (Kay) of Smyrna; grandchildren: Wayne Thomas Tolbert, Jordan Cannady, Janna Cannady, and Jada Cannady. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM, Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Liberty Baptist Church in Stockbridge, with Pastor Matt Grimes officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM, Monday, January 6, 2020 at the funeral home. Burial will be at 4 PM, Tuesday at Hebron Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Garfield, GA.
