Mr. James W. Corbin, Sr., age 85, of Jonesboro, passed away, April 27, 2013. He founded Corbin Gas Company in 1968. He was a member of Club 87 Hunting Club. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Forest Park. He was preceded in death by his wife; Joyce Corbin. Mr. Corbin is survived by his children; James W. Corbin, Jr., Nancy Corbin, Ron Corbin, Michael S. Corbin, brother; LeRoy Corbin, sisters; Mary Beck, Irene Alexander, Betty Brunson, Pat Drake, 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. Jim Elliott will officiate. Interment will be at Fairview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 29, 2013 from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
