Mr. James W. Wells, age 82 of Jonesboro passed away June 29, 2016. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Fayetteville. He is survived by his wife: Jane Hand Wells, daughters: Dawn Roberts and husband Ken Of McDonough and Tonia Price and husband Keith of Kennesaw, GA., sister: Brooksie Wynne and husband Jerry of Montgomery, AL., grandchildren: Lauren Ausborn, Audrey Roberts, Billy Roberts and Ashley Price, great-grandchildren: Sam Roberts, Evan Ausborn and one on the way, Baby girl Ausborn. Funeral services will be held Friday, July 1, 2016, 3 p.m. at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Glenn Stringham and Rev. Hinton Harris officiating. Interment will be at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Friday, July 1, 2016, 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home.
