Jane T. Brown, age 74, of McDonough, passed away, November 3, 2013. Mrs. Brown was a member of Jonesboro First United Methodist Church, worked for United Airlines and a member of Dixie Fliers. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar "Bing" Brown; son, John T. "Thorn" Brown and a brother, John T. Thornton. She is survived by her cousins, Teresa L. Gilchrist, Jesse Gilchrist, Justin Gilchrist, Ashley Gilchrist all of McDonough, Lisa Feldt, Casey Feldt, Robbie Feldt all of Texas, Joy Evans, Abigail Evans, Emma Evans all of Jonesboro and other cousins; step-sons, Bobby Jack Brown of St. Simons, Arlin Brown of Conyers and a uncle, Darwin Roberts of Jonesboro. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Friday, November 8, 2013 in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Interment will be at Jonesboro City Cemetery.
