Mrs. Jeanne Martinson Statham age 72 of Dunwoody, passed away on June 14, 2016. She was a longtime former member of Second-Ponce de Leon Baptist Church in Atlanta and was a current member of Dunwoody Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her first husband: James Martinson in 1969. She is survived by husband: Thomas G. Statham; children: Jay E. Martinson of Dunwoody, Dr. Craig & Maria Martinson of Sylvania, GA, and Thomas B. & Amanda Statham of Newnan; sister: Carolyn Payne Sharpe of Knoxville; grandchildren: Hagan T. Martinson, John E. Martinson both of Sylvania, GA and Henry T.K. Statham of Newnan; and a host of nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 3 PM, Wednesday, June 15th, 2016 at Greenwood Cemetery in Knoxville, TN. The family will also hold a service at 2:30 PM, Thursday, June 16th, 2016 at Second -Ponce de Leon Baptist Church 2715 Peachtree Road NW 30305 Atlanta, GA with Pastor Richard C. Statham and Dr. C. Robert Marsh officiating. The family will receive friends from 1-2:15 in the church parlor before the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to James E.
