Mr. Jeffrey Alexander Jakes, age 42 of McDonough passed August 30, 2021. Mr. Jakes was a Senior Specialist with Chick-fil-A and a member of Salem Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Hubert Tanksley and Helen Hagan Tanksley, paternal grandparents: Marion Alexander Jakes and Jean Jakes, nephews: William Thompson and George Stone. He is survived by his wife: Stacie Jakes, children: Joseph Hagan Jakes and Emerson "Emma" Claire Stone Jakes of McDonough, mother: Sue Jakes of Tyrone, siblings: Jessica (Mark) Davis of Temple, Jonathan (Leah) Jakes of London, England and Joanna (Brett) Thompson of Raleigh, N.C., nieces and nephews: Caleb Davis, Connor Davis, Cara Davis, Jude Jakes, Jubilee Jakes, Magdalene Thompson, Deacon Thompson and Campbell Thompson, parents-in-law: Joe and Bonnie Stone of Sharpsburg, brothers-in-law: Andrew (Lauren) Stone of Marietta and Daniel (Odette) Stone of Fayetteville, sister-in-law: Candace Stone of Sharpsburg, nieces: Malley Stone and Elle Stone, aunts, uncles and extended family members. Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 4, 2021 at Salem Baptist Church with Pastor Rick Statham officiating. Interment will follow at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 p.m.-8 p.m. Friday, September 3, 2021 at Salem Baptist Church Sanctuary.
