Mr. Jeffrey L. Sharrett, age 63 of Hampton passed away November 23, 2022. Mr. Sharrett served in the U. S. Army from April 6, 1982 until March 12, 1993, reaching the rank of Sergeant, He also served as a Correctional Officer with the United States Atlanta Federal Penitentiary for 23 years. He was preceded in death by his parents: Herman Franklin Sharrett and Irene Gertrude (Howington) Wyatt. He is survived by his wife: Sandy Sharrett, children: Kristina (Philip) Ham of St. Mary, GA, Jessica Sharrett of Hampton, Brittany (William) Bounds of Hampton, Alivia Watson of Hampton and Randy Green of Carrollton, sisters: Vickie Green and Judy (Lester) Duncan all of TN., grandchildren: Maverick Ham, Zoe Ham, Tyler Adams, Jaelyn Bounds, William Bounds, Levi Lynch and Ariana Watson. A Memorial Service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, December 11, 2022 at the Wyomia Tyus Park Pickelball Facility, 1301 Cowan Road, Griffin, GA 30223. The family will receive friends 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the funeral home.
