Jennifer Thornton Abel age 58 of Cornelia passed away May 31, 2017. Mrs. Abel loved her job as a teacher and also enjoyed teaching Sunday school. She is survived by her daughter: Amy Abel of Macon; niece: Samantha Pearsaul of Fellsmere, FL; and numerous cousins and extended family. Graveside services will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, June 4th, 2017 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens with Pastor Chuck Scott officiating.
