Mr. Jerry Boschert, age 80 of Ellenwood passed away July 1, 2021. Mr Boschert was a veteran of the US Air Force who enlisted at the early age of 17. After his service he worked many years in aviation fueling aircraft. He retired as a Gate Supervisor with Lockheed Martin at the International concourse of Atlanta Hartsfield Airport where he worked closely with TSA and the international tower. Jerry was a devoted member and faithful servant of Calvary Baptist Church. He oversaw the grounds and security, making sure that the church was kept nice and safe. Mr Boschert is survived by his wife of 45 years, Virginia Boschert; daughter Sherry Boschert Litzenberger of Senoia with husband Michael and grandsons Cole, Jesse and Tristan. Also daughter Sherry Parker of Jonesboro with granddaughters Holly and Meagan as well as Sheila Holden with husband Fred of Fairmount. Jerry was one of 10 children growing up in Maryland preceded by his parents Andrew (Andy) and Mary Boschert, brothers Thomas, Richard and Raymond. He is survived by siblings Kathleen (Sis) with husband Robin Woolford, Frederick (Fred) with wife Gabrielle (Gabby), Marguerite (Retsy) Clow with husband Harry, Veronica (Ronnie) Marousek with husband Edward, Darlene Hallett with husband Thomas, Linda Mech and also surviving sister in laws; Wanda Boschert Ellis and Bobby Lee Sullivan with husband Butch and countless nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 1 pm Tuesday July 6, 2021 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Saddlefield officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 12 - 1 pm Tuesday, prior to the service at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted or at Jerry's request, donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church 7130 Mt Zion Circle, Morrow GA 30236 in his memory.
