Mr. Jim H. Oliver, age 83 of Stockbridge passed away January 16, 2022. Mr. Oliver was a member of Glory Road Baptist Church and was preceded in death by his wife: Sarah Barbara Oliver, grandson: Michael Menard, parents: James W. and Beaulah Oliver and 8 siblings. He is survived by his children: Beth Oliver Barrett of Baldwin, GA, Robby (Amy) Oliver of Atlanta, Laura Oliver (Marty) Stout of Covington and Dawn Oliver (Carlos) Moreno of Stuart, FL., sisters: Dorothy Joann Gordon of Newnan, Shirley Highnote of Waverly Hall and Ruby Pierce of TN., grandchildren: Amanda Willis, Michelle Willis, Chris Barrett, Byron Oliver, Victoria Hutcheson, Alex Wensauer, Abbey Stout, Remi Moreno and Isabela Moreno, 7 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, January 21, 2022 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Jones officiating. The family will receive friends 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. prior to the service.
