Mr. Jimmy A. Vasser, age 54 of Jonesboro passed away August 9, 2019. Mr. Vasser was a member of Bethel Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his father, William F. Vasser, Jr. He is survived by his children: Danielle Wills Coussons (John Paul) of Griffin and Amber Vasser of San Diego, CA; mother: Shirley Vasser of Jonesboro; brother: Jesse Vasser of Jonesboro; grandchildren: Kamryn Wills Coussons, Tyler Hall, Adalyn Hall and Violet Stopher; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, August 12, 2019 in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Dr. Larry Burns officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Jonesboro. The family will receive friends from 3-6 p.m. on Sunday, August 11, 2019 at the funeral home.
