Joan M Vinson, 71, went home to be with her Lord on October 19, 2023. She is preceded in death by her husband, David Vinson, Sr., her parents Horace & Ruth Ford and siblings Mary Ann Weldon & Ronnie Ford. She is survived by her loving family; daughter Chasity (Jeff) Holsomback, son David Vinson, Jr. Grandchildren Ashley (Tyler) Strawn, Austin (Carol) Holsomback, Micah (Ziana) Holsomback.
Great Grandchildren; Waylon and Rylenn Holsomback and one on the way Oakley Holsomback. Siblings; James Ford, Horace W. Ford, Dennis (Faye) Ford, Rita Ford, Thomas (Donna) Ford and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Friday October 27, 2023 at 2pm at the Jacksonville Church of God in Jacksonville AL with Revs Jeff Holsomback and David Daniels officiating. Joan will lie in state at 1pm prior to the service. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Alexandria AL. The family will receive Friends and Family for Viewing @ 5:00-7:30 pm on Thursday October 26, 2023 at the Pelham Church of God Pelham AL.
