Mrs. Joanne H. Barnett, age 80 of Jonesboro passed away May 25, 2019. Mrs. Barnett was preceded in death by her son: Steven Frazier Hendrix, step-daughter: Karen Louise Allen and her parents: Fred F. and Eloise N. Rowley. She is survived by her husband: Phillip G. Barnett, Sr., children: Eloise Joy Gonzalez and husband William of Cumming, Carl Herman Hendrix, Jr. and wife BethAnn of Rex, Gerald Anthony Hendrix and wife Lichelle of Jonesboro, Samantha Charlene Bonner and husband Eric of Griffin and Phillip Gerald Barnett, Jr. of Douglasville, step-children: Cheryl Ann Barnett of MS and Janis Marie Atkinson and husband Jessie of Winston, GA, daughter-in-law: Kathleen Hendrix of Senoia, sister: Charlene Gray and husband Ted of TX., 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, 2019 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Ted Gray officiating.
