Mr. Joel Hardy Dampier age 86 of Fayetteville passed away November 22, 2022.  Mr. Dampier attended Riverdale First Baptist Church and then Harps Crossing Baptist Church of Fayetteville. He was a US Army veteran and a member of the Riverdale Masonic Lodge #709.  He is survived by his wife: Barbara Ann Dampier; children: Sabrina Dampier Cornelius (Raymond) of College Park, Byron Todd Dampier of Fayetteville, and Garth Burton Dampier of Fayetteville; brothers: James Dampier of Albany, GA and Emory Dampier of Morvan, GA; grandson: Barrett Neal Cornelius (Austin) of Atlanta.  The family would like to give a special thank you to Brightmoor Hospice for all of the love and care given to Mr. Dampier.
