Mr. Joey Shane Carpenter, age 43 of Hampton, passed away March 15, 2021. Joey loved his family and fishing, and he loved his music, especially playing the guitar and mandolin. He was a caring person and would do anything for anyone. Surviving are his parents: Steve and Freida Carpenter, sisters: Penny (Michael) McKeen and Kelly (Gary) Floyd, nephews: Garrison and Grayson Floyd and Michael McKeen, Jr. Funeral Service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 2021 at Moore's Temple Baptist Church, 4075 Jonesboro Road, Hampton, GA, with Brother Hubert Smith and Brother Jake Hayslip officiating. Interment will follow at Moore's Temple Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. Sunday at the church.
