Mr. John A. Barton age 89 of Jonesboro passed away October 5, 2017. Mr. Barton was a Mason and attended First Baptist Church of Jonesboro. He is survived by his wife: Joyce; daughter: Brenda Broadaway of Jonesboro; brother: Albert Barton (Gerda) of Macon; nephew: Charles Barton of Forsyth. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Monday, October 9th, 2017 in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Irvin Pearre officiating. Entombment to follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
