Mr. John W. Harwood, age 62, of Locust Grove, GA, passed away on Marach 30, 2015. He is survived by his wife, Melinda; children, Kristin Harwood of Locust Grove, Andrew Harwood of Locust Grove, Jordan (Jenny) Harwood of Hampton; siblings, Ronald (Linda) Harwood of MI, Ilene (Bob) Carroll of MI, Joyce Horner of MI, Dianne (Marty) Williams of MI; grandchildren, Tanner, MacKenzie, Mason, Delaney, Ethan, Natalie and Peter; mother-in-law, Maggie Shurling of Sandersville, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Jennifer (Russell) Brown of Sandersville. Funeral services will be held at 7 PM on Thursday, April 2, 2015 in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-7 PM prior to the service.
