Mr. John Letky, age 97, of Stockbridge passed away on July 2, 2026. He retired from the U.S. Army with the rank of Master Sergeant. He served tours in Korea and Vietnam. He was a member of St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church and he visited over 40 Countries. He was born on May 14, 1929 in Rochester, NY to the late William and Alice Letky. He was preceded in death by his wife: Joanne Gross Letky, son: John Richard Letky, and his siblings: Walter, Pearl, Dorothy, Myroslaw, William, Bernard, Ronald and Barbara. He is survived by his daughter: Vicki Lynn Serafin of Stockbridge, grandchildren: Ashley Ann (Rocky)
Mastroianni of NJ, Justine Lynn (Trey) Serafin of FL, great grandchildren: Gianna Mastroianni, Rocco Mastroianni and Sawyer Serafin. The family will receive friends on Saturday, July 11, 2026 from 2:00 PM till 4:00 PM at the funeral home. A Graveside Service will be held at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
