Mr. John Allen Sandberg, age 68 of Jonesboro, passed away January 24, 2022. Mr. Sandberg was preceded in death by his parents: LeRoy and Edna Sandberg.  He is survived by his loving wife: Cathy Sandberg; children: Tara (Joseph) Collins of Stockbridge and Jennifer Sandberg of Flowery Branch; brother: Jack Sandberg of Savannah; sister: Mary Goodman of Savannah; nephews: Charles Wurtzbaugh and Jason Wurtzbaugh; and extended family.  Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM, Saturday, February 5, 2022 in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Marsh officiating. Burial will follow at Westminster Memorial Gardens in Peachtree City. The family will receive friends from 12-1:30 PM before the service at the funeral home.
