Mr. Johnny Wesley Collier, Sr. age 87 of Hampton passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016. He was a member of the East Point Masonic Lodge #288, a Shriner and a member of the Scottish Rite, and the Teamsters Union #728, was a retired truck driver with over 60 years of service, and a US Army veteran. He is survived by wife: Velda Collier; children: Susan Sobel of Dallas, TX, Jay Adams (Lynn) of Lake Park, GA, John Collier, Jr. of Warner Robbins, GA, David Collier (Ute) of Washington, GA, Mark Collier of Hampton, GA, Kathleen Buckner (Jeff) of Jonesboro,GA, and Tina Ballou (Michael) of McDonough, GA; sister: Lula Batchelor of Perry, GA; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Monday, June 27, 2016 in the Chapel of Ford Stewart Funeral Home with Chaplain Rex Allen officiating. Burial to follow at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta.
