Mrs. Joi M. Downs age 95 of McDonough, GA passed away June 13th, 2023. Mrs. Downs was a member of First Baptist Church Jonesboro, GA for 46 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Grady N. Downs. She is survived by her Daughters Vicki Cavallaro of McDonough, GA and Cindi (Michael) Hoober of Fayetteville, GA; Grandchildren: Jason (Christy) Cavallaro of Jackson, GA, Hayli (Michael) Junge of Lake Villa, IL, Kevin (Allison) Hoober of Brandon, MS; Great-grandchildren: A.J. Cavallaro, Montana Monroe, Kaitlin Cavallaro, Zachary Hoober, Abigail Hoober, Gianna Junge, Rylee Junge, and Justin Junge and many extended family members. The family will receive friends from 3-5 PM Saturday, June 17th, 2023 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Monday, June 19th, 2023 in the Chapel of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro, GA with Dr. Charles Q. Carter and Rev. Allen Davis officiating. The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, June 20th, 2023 at Eastlawn Memorial Park in McDonough, GA.
