Mr. Joseph Daniel Montcalm age 72 of Suches passed away May 11, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife: Faye Montcalm. He is survived by his children: Joshua (Maggie) Montcalm of New York, NY, Gretchen Smith of Lawrence, KS, Tina (Bob) Orick of Sevierville, TN, Teresa (Rob) Jackman of Dallas, GA, and Scott Lowery (Brian Trenor) of Dallas, GA; brothers: Bernie Montcalm, Bill Montcalm, and Stanley Montcalm; grandchildren: Peyton Smith, Amelia Smith, Josh Benton, Mary Carver, Melissa Chase, Kyle LaVoie, and Devin LaVoie; great grandchildren: Makayla Benton, Kyndall Benton, Logan Benton, CJ Watson, Jacob Chase, Breck Carver, Owen Carver, Jade Carver, Jax Carver, and Abigal LaVoie; several nieces, nephews and extended family. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, June 3, 2023 in the chapel of Ford-Steart Funeral Home.
