Mrs. Joyce Ann Palmer, age 66, of Jonesboro, passed away February 16, 2014. My partner of 42 years was called home for a different mission by the Lord. I would like to thank all the people that tried to keep her here. I will miss my partner in crime, but she is in a better place and now is in no pain. She is survived by her husband; Lloyd "Pete" Palmer of Jonesboro, daughter; LeAnn (Chris) McCollough of Hampton, step-son; Michael O'Dell of Texas, sisters; Ellen Hammond of Hampton, Debbie (Paul) Jones of Hampton, grandchildren; Emily, Josh and Tim McClure of Hampton, step-grandchildren; Dalton and Annalee McCollough,several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, February 19, 2014 in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. Mike Hardin will officiate. Interment will be at Berea Cemetery in Hampton. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 18, 2014 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
