Mrs. Juanita Williams Hurndon, age 88, passed away on February 12, 2016. She was born to J.M. and May Williams on August 26, 1927. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and five brothers. Juanita was a hard worker, she was employed by Genesco in Atlanta for 31 years and after her move to Greensboro she was employed by Nibco for 15 years. She was an avid gardener, cook and walker. Juanita will be fondly remembered by many people because she never met a stranger. She will be remembered mostly for the love she had and showed to her family. Juanita was the loving mother to her children, Johnny Hurndon of Greensboro, Joy Moore of Stockbridge; loving Mema to three grandchildren, Jennifer Sheerer, Chris (Jennifer) Harrison, Brittany (J.T.) Tidwell; proud loving Mema to nine great grandchildren, Maryah Sorrow, Seth Sorrow, Cameron Harrison, Kylie Harrison, Kadin Harrison, Ryder Tidwell, Stormie Tidwell, River Tidwell, Reign Tidwell; and one great grandchild, Avery Sorrow. Funeral services will be held at 4 PM on Saturday, February 20, 2016 in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home.
