Julius Bigelow Trimble, Jr. (Buddy) passed away Nov. 19, 2013, at the age of 85. He was the longest living member of Riverdale First Baptist Church, his family having moved to Riverdale in 1939. After graduating in 1948 from Jonesboro High School, he spent most of his life working on the family farm in Riverdale. Survivors include his siblings, sister, Ruth Trimble Camp, of Jonesboro, brothers, John (Jane) Trimble of Riverdale, Jim (Barbara) Trimble of Riverdale, Jack Trimble of Jonesboro and Joe (Jeri) Trimble of Carrollton. Buddy will be remembered as one of the sweetest, most honest and well disciplined individuals by all who knew him. Services will be held Thursday at 2 PM from the First Baptist Church of Riverdale with the Pastor Jeff Lowe Officiating. The family will receive friends at Ford Stewart Funeral Home in Jonesboro, Wednesday from 5 PM to 8 PM. Interment will be at Pleasant Grove Methodist Church Cemetery in Riverdale, GA.
