Rev. Kenneth O. Sheesley age 87 of East Point, passed away March 30, 2017. Mr. Sheesley was a member of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro and served in the US Army. He is survived by his wife: Dr. Gwendolyn Sheesley; son: Jeff Sheesley and his wife: Kathy of East Point; brother: Ronald Sheesley of PA; grandchildren: Steven Sheesley, and Shannon Balthaser and her husband: Spencer. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, Monday, April 3, 2017 in the Worship Center at First Baptist Church of Jonesboro with Rev. Irvin Pearre, Rev. Hinton Harris, and Rev. Darwin Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow at Westview Cemetery in Atlanta. The family will receive friends from 2-5 PM, Sunday. April 2, 2017 at the funeral home.
