Mr. L. Harry Edwards, age 93, of McDonough, passed away, February 22, 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife, Juanita; son Harry and son in law, Mac McElwaney. He is survived by his children, Liz (Dan) Garrison of LaGrange, Betty McElwaney of Riverdale, Shirley (David) White of McDonough, JoAnn (David) Hanson of Stockbridge, Esther (Steve) Burdette of Monticello, 12 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Thursday, February 26, 2015 in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Noah's Ark Church Cemetery.
