Mr. Lamar Sweat, age 77, of Forest Park, passed away on August 28, 2021.  He was a Route Salesman for Frito Lay. He was preceded in death by his parents; Floyd F. and Mary P. Sweat, siblings; Ralph Sweat, Earnest Sweat, Alice Sweat, Jeanette "Katie" Petty, Lou Seidenfaden and Ruth Cook.  He is survived by his children, Tammy McDaniel of Conyers, Thomas Lamar (Stacie) Sweat, Jr., of Hogansville, Tim (Beth) Sweat of McDonough; siblings, Doug Sweat of Atlanta, Peggy Petty of Pelham, Barbara Sweat of McDonough; grandchildren, Jack (Kristen) Jamerson, Mandi (Matt) Hornsby, Thomas Lamar (Haley) Sweat III, Tiffany (Sam) Altizer, Dustin (Dani) Hornsby, Ryan Sweat, Ashlynn (Erik) Payton, Miranda Sweat, Carrie Thompson; 11 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and extended family members. A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Pastor Ron Little will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 6-8 PM at the Funeral Home.
