Mrs. Lana Kay Ward, age 78, of Jonesboro, passed away on January 21, 2020.  She was a member of  First Baptist Church of Jonesboro.   Mrs. Ward is survived by her husband, Eldred L. Ward; children, Eldred L. (Pam) Ward, Jr. of Marietta, Deborah Lynn (George) Weaver of Woodstock, Tamela Kay (Bob)  McKemie of Marietta, Gregory Dean Ward of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Jonathan Wayne (Tiffany) Ward, Alyson Nicole (Chris) Winemiller, Andrew (Candace) Ward, Mackenzie Ward and six great grandchildren, Zoe, Justice, Trinity, Coral, Pyper and Natasha.  A  Funeral Service  will be held at 11 AM on Friday, January 24, 2020 in the Chapel of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro.  She will lie in state one hour prior to the service at the church.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 23, 2020 from 5-7 PM at the funeral home.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: First Baptist Church Jonesboro, "Local Missions Fund", P.
