Mr. Larry Dale Bowman age 72 of Jonesboro passed away October 14, 2016. Mr. Bowman served in the US Army. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and he loved to garden. He was also a member of the NRA. Mr. Bowman is survived by his wife: Judi Harrison Bowman; children: Leondra & Darren Waldrop of Elizabethton, TN, Leslie & Jimmy Bright of Jonesborough, TN, James & Valencia Harrison of Decatur, GA, Johnny & Melissa Harrison of Dawsonville, GA, and Joshua & Christina Harrison of Locust Grove, GA; brother: Paul & Janice Bowman of Monticello, GA; sister: Linda Workman of Suwanee, GA; 19 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren and one on the way. Funeral services will be held at 7 PM, Wednesday, October 19, 2016 in the Chapel of Ford Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. David Riley officiating. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM before the service at the funeral home.
