Mrs. LaRue Hobbs, age 85 of McDonough passed away February 20, 2021. Mrs. Hobbs was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church for over 45 years and was retired from Delta Airlines. She was preceded in death by her husband, James B. Hobbs. She is survived by her daughter: Suzette Hobbs of McDonough; grandchildren: Hayley (Aaron) Pickens of SC and Nate Ferrell of FL; great grandchild: Gash Pickens; sister-in-law: JoAnn Quattlebaum; nephews: Gary Jordan, Stephan Jordan, and Ben Hawkins; nieces: Krissy Lewis and Leighanne Brown. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Jonesboro, GA.  The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
