Mr. Laurence J. Polovich, age 71, of Jonesboro, passed away on January 23, 2020.  He retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad and was a member of St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church.  He is survived by his wife, Martha; sons, Eric Polovich and wife Melissa of NY, Matthew Polovich and wife Priscilla of Sandy Springs; brother, George Polovich and wife Bonnie of Indiana; grandchildren, Evelyn Polovich, Oscar Polovich and Maebry Polovich.  A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, January 27, 2020 at St. Philip Benizi Catholic Church.  The family will receive friends from 3-5PM on Sunday, January 26, 2020 at the funeral home.  Ford-Stewart Funeral Home, Inc., Jonesboro/Stockbridge 770-210-2700.
