Mr. Lee Roy Smith, age 75, of Rex, passed away, February 11, 2012. He graduated from Rabun Gap Nacoochee School. He is survived by his wife; Marie Hancock Smith, son and daughter in law; Robert Gregory (Jeri) Smith of Luthersville, daughter; Amanda Lynn Laine of Stockbridge, brothers and sisters in law; Charles (Linda) Smith of Fayetteville, Rubin (Connie) Smith of Canton, Terry (Rebecca) Smith of White, sister and brother in law; Juanita (B.G.) Parrish of Gray, sister; Elizabeth Sutton of Adairsville, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held, Saturday, February 18, 2012 at 11 AM in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Pastor Paul Glass will officiate.
