Lillian Ann Castleberry age 73 of Jonesboro passed away Saturday, October 17, 2015. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro and retired from Clayton County. She is preceded in death by husband: John Wallace Castleberry; parents: Harland & Sara M. Crook; and brother: Al Crook. She is survived by children: Lt. Col. Ret. USAF Chris & Kim Castleberry of Columbus, MS, and Jill & John Newman of Hampton; grandchildren: Megan Johnson (David), Anna Newman, and David Newman; great grandchildren: Jack Johnson, Heidi Rose Johnson, and Gwendolyn Johnson; Brothers: Joseph Crook (Cindy) of SC, and Alan Crook (Jan) of TN; sister-in-law: Carolyn Crook of SC; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family. Funeral service will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, October 20, 2015 in the Chapel of First Baptist Church of Jonesboro. Dr. Mel Blackaby and Rev. Hinton Harris will officiate and entombment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park. Family will receive friends Monday, October 19, 2015 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
