Linda Claudine Davis Long passed on from this world on Saturday March 28, 2026. Linda was so loved by her family and friends. She helped anyone who asked. Linda was a devout Christian lady and member of the Middle Fayette Church of Christ. She owned a catering service and florist through which she directed many weddings for long time Fayette County residents. Linda drove a school bus for the Fayette County School system for many years. Linda was a Cosmetologist, funny car driver, quilter and she loved to crochet. But more than any of this she loved the Lord and her family. Linda graduated from Fayette County High School and just a few years back helped to plan their reunion. Linda cooked many meals for grieving families and gave far more than she ever took from anyone. Linda volunteered for Meals on Wheels for years, and also provided Beauty services to nursing home residents. Throughout her life she went on mission trips, attended gospel meetings and Lads to Leaders conventions, and was the church secretary. She volunteered for the cook position at church camp (Camp Inagehi). Linda was a pillar of the community and was proud of her family. Linda was preceded in death by her beloved parents William Clifton and Margaret Stanley Davis. Linda was the light of her family... Survived by her adoring husband of almost 56 years(6 days short) Ray Long, her children... son Victor Long and his wife Jan and daughter Kristi Long-Knight and her husband Bryan. Grandchildren Austin Long, Madison Boyd and husband Blake Boyd , Savana Wheatley, Reece Long, Cohen Long, and Easton Long. She was so loved by everyone who knew her, and would want everyone to know... Jesus loves you. Please hear, believe, repent, confess and be baptized for remission of your sins.
