Mr. Linton Copeland Smith, Sr., age 82, of Locust Grove, passed away, June 30, 2012. He was preceded in death by his wife; Mattie Pearl Smith. He is survived by his children; Terrie (Mike) Roby of McDonough, Janet (Barry) Harper of McDonough, Debbie Balkcom of Jonesboro, Linton Smith, Jr. of Linden, MI, James (Marla) Smith of Tyrone, brother; Willis (Betty) Smith of Ellenwood, 11 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held, Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 11 AM in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Interment will be at Sherwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 2, 2012 from 5-8 PM at the funeral home.
