Lloyd Everett Britt, age 88 of Jonesboro
passed away February 15, 2022.  Mr. Britt
was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member
of the American Legion, Post 258 in
Jonesboro.  Mr. Britt was preceded in death
by his parents: William Guy and Lois Elizabeth
Britt: his first wife, Martha Stewart Britt,
siblings: Curtis Britt, Charles Britt, Clarence Britt
and Mamie Doris "Sister" Singleton.  He is
survived by his wife, Janet Britt, children: Mike (Sue)
Britt of Winter Haven, FL, Julie (Greg) Jahn of Del Mar,
CA, Guy Britt of CO., Sabrina Merritt (Dan Gerry)
of St. Louis, MO and Andrea (Andy) Autrey of
Newnan, grandchildren: Katie (Jared) Williams,
Kelly (Adam) Lau, Christopher Jahn, Brittany Jahn,
Garrison Britt, Delaney Britt, Gabe Gerry, Grant Gerry,
Joseph (Lydia) Autrey and Beth (Ray) Weathers, great-
grandchildren: Jackson, Leeland, McKinley,
Charlotte and Scarlett, numerous nieces, nephews
and extended family members. A Memorial Service
will be held at 3 pm, Friday, February 25, 2022
in the Chapel of Ford-Stewart
Funeral Home with Chaplain Don Powell
officiating.  The family will receive family
and friends from 2-3 pm.  A reception will follow
the service at the American Legion Post, 1480 American
Legion Way, Jonesboro, GA. 30236.
