Mrs. Louise G. Leatherwood, age 91 of Jackson passed away April 23, 2021. Mrs. Leatherwood was a member of Guiding Light Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband: Roy Jefferson Leatherwood and sons: Tommy Leatherwood and Carl Lee Leatherwood. She is survived by her children: Wade (Maria) Leatherwood of Bastrop, TX., Teresa (Gene) Burgess of Nashville, TN, Annette (Albert) Nash of Jackson, Lavonna (Tim) Humphries of Stockbridge and Gregory (Markie) Leatherwood of Maryville, TN., daughter-in-law: Faye Leatherwood of Morrow, brother: Gerald (Margaret) Chapman, sister: Marie Dummett of Rockmart, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and extended family members. Funeral Services will be held at 5:30 p.m. Sunday, April 25, 2021 at the Chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Lowery and Rev. Adam Humphries officiating. Interment will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
