Mrs. Lynda J. Garner, age 86, of Morrow, passed away, November 9, 2012. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Morrow. She also was a volunteer worker for more than 27 years at Southern Regional Medical Center and she had over 8000 volunteer hours. She was preceded in death by her husband; Lamer Garner. She is survived by her children; Rex (Donna) Garner of Jonesboro, Vicki (David) Pope of Newnan, Donna (Bill) Leming of Fayetteville, 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held, Monday, November 12, 2012 at 11 AM in the chapel of Ford-Stewart Funeral Home. Rev. David Tew will officiate. Interment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Newnan at 2 PM the day of the service. The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 11, 2012 from 3-6 PM at the funeral home.
