Madie Pauline Wrenn (May) Templeton,86, residing at Brighton Gardens in Dunwoody passed away September 21, 2012 at her home from natural causes. May was born on July 27, 1926 in Collins Georgia. Preceded by her parents Remer and Annie Wrenn, May was blessed with 10 brothers and sisters, 4 children and 8 grand children. May was married to Arthur William Templeton, who passed away in 1990. Her children include Betty Alspaugh who is married to David Alspaugh and who have a son Chad, Joanne Zuraw who is married to Mark Zuraw and who have a son Everett and daughter Charlotte, William Templeton, son, has 3 children Austin, Dylan and Haley, and May's youngest son, Charles is married to Missy and together have 2 daughters Lauren and Sarah. Not only did May raise these children, she owned and operated the travel agency Tara World Travels until she sold it to retire. May was an avid golfer who played at Lake Spivey Country Club and was an active member of First United Methodist Church in McDonough Georgia. She also loved being a member of the Red Hats Club. A memorial service will be held at Ford-Stewart Funeral Home at 2047 Highway 138 SE, Jonesboro, GA 30236 at 11:00am on Saturday, September 29, 2012. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
